PAUL McPARLANE, P.E.
Since receiving his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 1983, Paul has been involved in the design and construction of over 20 million square feet of facilities, including over 2,500 projects in the past 27 years. In 1990, Paul and his partner John McGee formed McParlane & Associates, Inc. with the focus of becoming the leading provider of mechanical engineering services in the region.
Paul leads by example and he is passionate about educating his staff. He teaches his engineers technical and leadership skills that empower them to take an initiative to overcome design challenges and to communicate with the design team to produce a cost-effective product.
For the past 12 years, Paul has dedicated his time to mentoring the youth of San Diego through the ACE Mentor program. Through his enthusiasm and commitment, he has helped high school students develop an aptitude for the Architectural/ Construction/ Engineering industry. Paul is currently serving as a Board Member for the San Diego Chapter and was the Chapter’s the past Chairman.
