Project Description
The new Student Union at California State University San Marcos serves as a gateway building for the northern entrance of the CSUSM campus. It includes 89,000 sf of student life spaces. The Union project consists of a central “living room” for the entire campus with connections to student lounges, study spaces, retail, a café, and exhibit areas. A dining court, offering a variety of indoor and outdoor seating options, serves up to 650 students with a wide range of cuisines. A conference facility gathered around a 9,000-sf flexible, multi-purpose ballroom supports the Union’s large-scale events.
