Project Description
The SeaWorld Aquatica project consisted of the renovation to an existing waterpark (Knott’s Soak City) located in San Diego, California. The south seas meet Southern California at Aquatica; a whimsical, one-of-a-kind waterpark. Aquatica blends up-close animal experiences, waters from serene to extreme, high speed thrills, and sandy beaches all in one place. The SeaWorld Aquatica project is an innovative hybrid concept that combines a marine park with a water park. Guests are able to interact with animals as they zip down water slides. The waterpark includes exhilarating water slides, a flamingo habitat, and a white sandy beach.
