Project Description
The Hosteling International project is located at 1438 2nd Street in Santa Monica, California. The building is approximately 28,392 sf and includes 273 beds in 48 rooms. Before MPA came onto the scene, the building was being conditioned using fin tube radiant heaters in the guest rooms and ducted fan coil units in the corridors and restrooms. The purpose of our involvement was to upgrade the HVAC systems to allow for independent heating and cooling for the guest rooms to improve guest comfort.
