Project Description
The San Diego Airport Terminal 2 Delta Airlines Tenant Improvement project consisted of a 15,000 sf tenant improvement located on Level 1 of the new Terminal 2 West Building at the San Diego International Airport. The expanded terminal offers travelers a faster, smoother and amenity rich trip from the curb to their flights. This project was dubbed “The Green Build” due to its focus on the environment. Sustainable features include solar panels and reflective roofs. Inside the terminal, there are new restaurant options and service and retail shops, club lounges, and an indoor pet-relief area. The project included the addition of toilets, shower, locker rooms, enclosed offices, open offices, break rooms, avionics area, tool storage, operations areas, shops, IT representative area, storage areas, training areas, comm rooms (requiring dedicated 24-hours cooling), bag storage, and service areas.
